It’s time for the First Annual Adam Carolla Memorial #FridayReads, everybody! Let’s start with the book I’m actually reading, We Only Know So Much by Elizabeth Crane, which is disturbingly funny. Then the two I picked up today, old favorite Francine Prose’s My New American Life and Edna O’Brien’s The Country Girls Trilogy. I still haven’t read any O’Brien, but if her novels are half as funny and true as the adaptation she wrote for the second book in the trilogy (starring Rita Tushingham as Kate), then they must be amazing.
